Working With Us

We supply staff to a wide range of nursing homes throughout the Hampshire area. Staff can only join our agency after they've been through rigorous checks to make sure they're suitable for their roles, hold up-to-date certification, when appropriate, and have undergone relevant training.

Helping Hands Care Agency's high standards require all agency staff to have a face-to-face interview with us before joining.

We also check:

  • experience
  • identity, visas
  • professional references
  • NMC registration
  • information held by the Criminal Records Bureau
  • immunisation status
  • evidence of CPD - clinical skills
  • mandatory training

We then assess each individual's induction needs and whether additional training is required, and set up a tailored induction schedule.
